Giovannacci Caffè SAS
The passion of three generations has grown the quality of a coffee of excellence, listed in the first national guide among the 100 best Specialty coffee roasters in Italy.
The story of Giovannacci Caffè began more than fifty years ago, when Piero Giovannacci decided to open a small coffee bar in the centre of Finale Ligure, with coffee roasting in the back room, and thereby realised his lifelong dream. It was the 1960s, and from the first days of the opening, the streets of the old town were lined with people eager to taste his coffee. The quality was so high that, within a short time, Piero began to resell his coffee in neighbouring cafés, and so, year after year, with the help of his sons Massimo and Gilberto, an adventure began that has continued ever since, to the third generation of the roasting family.
Today Massimo and his children Martina, Lorenzo and Francesco lead the company. They are passionate about continuing what has become a "family tradition" and taking their quality and history beyond Italy, mainly to Northern Europe, which is a flagship market for high-quality coffee.
Over the years, the company has made important achievements and today ranks at the forefront of high quality artisan coffee roasters. When buying coffee, they prefer rare, selected and rigorously hand-picked coffees, which are limited in availability at origin. All their coffee is roasted and processed using the latest technology and 4.0 machinery, a condition that is essential today in order to offer a high-quality end product.
