Palazzo Ricci

A private renaissance residence in the town of Finale

Palazzo Ricci in Finalborgo faces Santa Caterina square but originally the main entrance had a grand black stone portal that was set in the narrow Via del Municipio street. This historic residence constitutes one of the most exquisite and best preserved examples of private noble residences pertaining to the first half of the 16th century in Finale. Currently this building is the seat of the Historic Archive of Finale, the building is destined to become one of the principal poles of the Cultural Heritage system of Finale Ligure.

There is a functional readjustment project underway that is financed by the Compagnia di San Paolo that will give way to having more access to the site.

The visit is part of the “open art” project that is promoted by MUDIF.

Sustainable outdoor tourism means putting the territory first.

Finale Ligure and the Finale Outdoor Region, renowned for their world-class MTB trails, hold a unique distinction: they are not just another bike park! The expansive territory, home to hundreds of kilometres of MTB trails, is open to all. But how do we protect this precious heritage, the culmination of years of dedicated work by numerous enthusiasts, from the potential damage caused by the frequent passage of riders?

Planning day-to-day maintenance work on the trail network is necessary for this fantastic treasure to continue. This includes tasks such as erosion control, trail surface maintenance, and vegetation management, all of which are crucial for the sustainability and safety of our trails. The only way we can meet the territory's needs and continue to offer some of the most enjoyable MTB trails in the world is by efficiently organizing the trail-building works.
