A route of geological and naturalistic interest, with spectacular views of the coast from Varigotti to Capo Mele.
This route follows the ancient road that connected Borgio Verezzi to Finalborgo, and is now a popular trail for MTB enthusiasts. The journey starts with a gravel climb that offers a picturesque view of Finalborgo. Along the way, you'll come across the charming 'Regina Pacis' church, painted blue and dating back to the last century, which was built by the Scolopi Fathers.
After a scenic trip through the forest, you'll arrive at Verezzi. Here, we recommend taking a break and visiting the Church of San Martino Vescovo, constructed in 1625, which offers breathtaking views of the coast from Pietra Ligure to Loano.
Continuing towards the Caprazoppa promontory, you can take the path leading to the Rocca dell'Orera cliffs, providing a panoramic view of Finalborgo at the foot of the cliffs.
You can end your trip with a downhill stretch back to Finalborgo, where it began. Alternatively, you can extend this itinerary with the Verezzi's Hamlets (https://www.finaleoutdoor.com/en/trails-walls/verezzi-s-4-hamlets).
