Discovering the two sides of Monte Carmo: a challenging but totally worth-it double loop track. Take it all in while you enjoy the stunning panorama!
Criss-cross the Monte Carmo and reach the ridge line towards Ravinet.The trail climbs up to Giogo di Toirano and joins the Alta Via leading you to Cornà first and then to Ciazzalunga. Another section of Alta Via takes you back to the Bardineto side. The dirt road climbs steep to Pagliarina and reaches the Carmo saddle and the Amici del Carmo hub. If you like, you’ll face a new challenge: the Monte Carmo summit with its breathtaking view.
Follow the trail marked with a red X and descend to Ciazzalunga, then back to Cornà and Giogo di Toirano. The ridge line ends up just behind the small Church of San Nicolò.
