Final-Borgo
- Status Open
- NR 402
- Area Finalese
- Tipologia EN
At the beginning, the trail is medium level and becomes very technical towards the end. It offers a stunning view of Finalborgo.
The trail is iconic and short, beginning at the famous Castel Govone and challenging even the best EWS riders. It starts with a fast section on fixed rock mixed with dirt, then crosses the Strada Beretta, which was built in 1666, before entering the scrubland again. Here, there is a fun and fast traverse section with a few climbs, followed by a dive into Finalborgo. The trail ends with a final steep section marked by 4/5 sharp bends that often require careful assessment before tackling. The first few bends are on narrow and steep dirt, while the last bend is on fixed, often slippery rock.
