Experience a captivating journey through beauty and history, featuring a breathtaking sea view from Varigotti to Capo Noli.
The route from Varigotti to Capo Noli offers a unique and captivating experience of beauty, culture, and nature. It's best to walk this path during the winter and spring months, as the high temperatures in the summer require caution.Starting from Varigotti, the initial uphill stretch is the most challenging, but the effort is rewarded with a breathtaking view of the sea. The path winds through olive groves and Mediterranean scrub, passing by the charming little Church of San Lorenzo, which offers a stunning view of Punta Crena and Baia dei Saraceni.
Continuing along the main path, you'll come across the Cerisola Mausoleum, a small wall adorned with maritime symbols and life preservers, serving as a tribute to Giuseppe Cerisola, the landowner with a seafaring background.
As you follow the main path, you'll soon arrive at the historic Torre delle Streghe (Witches' Tower), dating back to the 16th century, built by Noli to safeguard its border with Varigotti.
