Stage 4: Cà de Badin - Finalborgo

The ancient and mysterious charm of the Finalese plateaus

Leaving Cà de Badin, we head towards Magnone and Borgata Rocca, up to Boragni, where the Grotta della Strapatente awaits us, a natural tunnel that allows us to cross the mountain.

Climbing up to the village of Orco, we continue towards the San Bernardino plateau, in the presence of the imposing walls of Monte Cucco, a favorite destination for climbers. We reach another iconic place: Ciappo delle Conche, a large stone slab with rock engravings.

After four days of walking, Finalborgo is now close: one last effort and we can enjoy a delicious ice cream, relax in one of the many bars, or shop in the outdoor stores of Finalborgo!

HOW WE MAINTAIN FINALE OUTDOOR REGION TRAIL NETWORK

Sustainable outdoor tourism means putting the territory first.

Finale Ligure and the Finale Outdoor Region, renowned for their world-class MTB trails, hold a unique distinction: they are not just another bike park! The expansive territory, home to hundreds of kilometres of MTB trails, is open to all. But how do we protect this precious heritage, the culmination of years of dedicated work by numerous enthusiasts, from the potential damage caused by the frequent passage of riders? 

Planning day-to-day maintenance work on the trail network is necessary for this fantastic treasure to continue. This includes tasks such as erosion control, trail surface maintenance, and vegetation management, all of which are crucial for the sustainability and safety of our trails. The only way we can meet the territory's needs and continue to offer some of the most enjoyable MTB trails in the world is by efficiently organizing the trail-building works.
