From the coast to the first mountain of the Alps
The trek begins in the wonderful medieval village of Finalborgo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and an ideal starting point thanks to its wide range of accommodations, shops, and services.
After a unmissable stop for focaccia (even better with a cappuccino), our trek starts by crossing the suggestive Caprazoppa plateau, then reaching Verezzi with its picturesque hamlets and Pietra Ligure, ideal for a refreshing break before continuing towards Ranzi. Gaining altitude on the ancient Fieno path, we leave behind the sea and the Mediterranean environment to immerse ourselves, step by step, in an unexpected mountain atmosphere.
The first stage ends at Rifugio Pian delle Bosse, a structure at an altitude of 842 meters, where a warm and tasty welcome with a sea view awaits us!
