The UCI Marathon World Cup is the new exciting sporting event of the Finale Outdoor Region, with start and finish in the charming medieval village of Finalborgo, a 100 km course with over 3500 m of elevation gain and tons of single tracks!

No introductions needed here for what the Finale Outdoor Region is and has to offer. A great variety of single-tracks: challenging, long, technical and flowy features reign and cover roughly 35kms of the course creating a wonderful rhythm of speed, flow and fast gravel tracks to catch a breath and cover some ground.This 100km single-lap goes through historical sites, stunning sea-views, beech-wood forests, rocky, rooty single-tracks, ancient towns and so much more! A challenging and exciting epic course.

During times of drought avoid lighting fires, choose suitable trails avoiding those in the pine forest and favouring those with alternative routes for going back.

HOW WE MAINTAIN FINALE OUTDOOR REGION TRAIL NETWORK

Sustainable outdoor tourism means putting the territory first.

Finale Ligure and the Finale Outdoor Region, renowned for their world-class MTB trails, hold a unique distinction: they are not just another bike park! The expansive territory, home to hundreds of kilometres of MTB trails, is open to all. But how do we protect this precious heritage, the culmination of years of dedicated work by numerous enthusiasts, from the potential damage caused by the frequent passage of riders?

Planning day-to-day maintenance work on the trail network is necessary for this fantastic treasure to continue. This includes tasks such as erosion control, trail surface maintenance, and vegetation management, all of which are crucial for the sustainability and safety of our trails. The only way we can meet the territory's needs and continue to offer some of the most enjoyable MTB trails in the world is by efficiently organizing the trail-building works.
